The Davenport Institute for Public Engagement and Civic Leadership at the Pepperdine School of Public Policy recently hosted a 5-part webinar series in partnership with Emerging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) exploring how the global COVID-19 pandemic has shaped the way local governments are engaging with their residents. A year later, social distancing guidelines are relaxing, and in-person engagement is imaginable again - but governments have learned much from their forays into virtual engagement and won't be going back to business as usual.
