Fall Meeting

Fall Directors' Meeting October 15-16, 2026

October 15-16 in Boston, MA

Directors of institutes and centers and school deans won't want to miss our annual in-person gathering. While we plan to keep Washington, DC as our regular "home base" for this meeting, we will be changing things up for 2026 and meeting at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. So get ready for a trip to Boston in the fall!

As always, registration for the Fall Meeting is covered by your annual membership dues. If you are not able to attend yourself, consider sending a colleague as a proxy. There is nothing quite like getting together with a small group of peers for an intimate discussion of some of our most pressing challenges and exciting opportunities.

On the agenda will be many opportunities to both share updates with colleagues and to work together on areas of common challenge.

Travel, Lodging, & Meals

Suffolk University is easily accessible via public transit from Boston Logan Airport.

For folks needing to fly out after the meeting to attend ICMA in Long Beach, direct flights are available from Logan to LAX or with a single stop from Logan to Long Beach (recommended).

We are currently researching room blocks and will share lodging information in early 2026.

CUPSO will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Wednesday and breakfast and lunch on Thursday.

Location

Special thanks to Brendan Burke and the folks at Suffolk University for hosting us right in Downtown Boston - their location is right next to Boston Common and the Massachusetts State House, easily accessible by the T.
