This webinar will feature presentations about the Delaware Complete Communities initiative and Smart Growth for Small Towns, a cooperative project between the Stennis Institute of Government and Community Development and Extension at Mississippi State University. Pre-K to High School Education Webinar

International Activities at Public Service Institutes

Tom Vocino, Executive Director of the Center for Leadership and Public Policy at Alabama State University, and Don-Terry Veal, Director of the Center for Governmental Services at Auburn University, got the conversation started by talking about their activities and interests in the international arena. The conference call event continued with a discussion of activities at other institutes and centers as well as potential opportunities for collaboration.

Leadership Challenges in Small Towns

The webinar began with a profile of the leadership development programs at Mississippi State University’s Stennis Institute of Government, with a focus on “Selected to Serve,” a program where participants work towards specific, measurable goals.
